Hemp can truly be called a superfood. Consider this…

3 Tablespoons of hemp seeds 10 grams of protein and 3000 milligrams of omega-3 fatty acids in the ideal ratio (1).

As Dr. Axe says in the video below, this powerful little seed is better in many ways than flax or chia seeds. (And we all know how awesome they are!)

Nutrition in Hemp Seeds per serving: (3 tablespoons)

  • 10 grams protien
  • 3000 mg omega-3 fatty acids in a perfect ratio to omega-6 (1:2 ration meaning-1 omega-3 to 2 omega 6)
  • High in fiber  (approximately 12 grams per serving) (3)
  • 50% daily value of magnesium (most people are deficient in magnesium
  • 50% daily value of phosphorus
  • 25% dv zinc

What is Bee Propolis (1,2,3)?

The word “PROPOLIS” is from Greek and means “defend the city.” (1) Propolis is a substance, a tree resin, collected by bees and mixed with their own nectar and beeswax to protect the hive from foreign invaders and keep the hive healthy. The bees use the substance to fill the cracks in the hive, protecting it from invaders. If the invaders do manage to make it through the barrier, the propolis kills the invader. In fact, if a mouse or mole manages to get into the hive, the bees will sting it to death, then mummify it in propolis. (2)

Royal Jelly is the exclusive food for the queen bee. The nurse bees produce the jelly and feed to select larvae, which then turn into queen bees.
