Exercise for 51 minutes…per week!

We obviously want to aim higher than 51 minutes per week. However, even a few minutes everyday, according to an article published by the American College of Cardiology, can help. Something is better than nothing!

“For as little as seven minutes of sweat a day, you can reduce your risk of dying by 33 percent, according to research. Walk, jog, ride a bike, or jump rope. Anything that gets your heart rate up counts. If that’s not motivation enough, scientists found that people who exercised for 10 minutes a day were, yes, happier than those who did not. ” ~ fatherly.com

  1. So, I exercise three times a week right now. I’d like to go up to 4, but my weekends are too busy/hectic to do that right now. I do weightlifting followed by a run that’s 20-30 minutes. The weightlifting takes about 40 minutes. I feel pretty good after these workouts now that I’m used to them, and my quality of life has definitely improved since I’ve added more exercise into my weekly routine. 🙂
