The Purple Almond’s New Schedule

I’ve finished my final exam and am back from my 3 week break. I got a 96% on my exam, so that makes me quite happy!

We are so happy, we do the dance of joy!

As of today, I signed up for my final course at Hawthorn, my thesis. This course will take over my life for the next 3 months. Therefore, I’ve decided to cut way back on my posts. From now until July 10, I will cut my main posts to 1 per week. (I currently post 2/week) I have also decided to eliminate my morning videos and evening posts. I’ll be posting every Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. EST.

Here is the new monthly schedule


  • Week 1: Fit by 50
  • Week 2: Wellness
  • Week 3: Recipes
  • Week 4: My Pioneer Cookbook Adventure

Big changes are coming to The Purple Almond!

Then, on July 11, I will be temporarily shutting down my blog. I will be remodeling my site to prepare for my online business. My blog will be shut down for approximately 8 weeks, and will reopen on September 1, 2019.

Closing thoughts:

I can’t believe my time at Hawthorn is almost over! I have so many thoughts and feelings running through my brain, but am mostly excited and VERY nervous. I am on the cusp of doing what I love: teaching people about health and wellness! Life is good and I am such a lucky woman!
