November 11, 1918 marked the end of World War I.

Whether you’re in England celebrating Remembrance Day, or France celebrating Armistice Day or the USA celebrating Veteran’s Day,  each year, for the past 100 years,  the world stops, on November 11, to thank our veterans and remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.

As we commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I,  I’d like to stop and take this opportunity to thank all of our veterans as well as current members of the military, for your service, giving up your lives to protect our country.

You are heroes

I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

“The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you.”

From: Dwight D Eisenhower’s D-Day message

Here is a Veteran’s day tribute video,

with footage beginning with WWI.
