Morning Video Series: DIY Gut Healing Ginger Beer

The human body has more microbes than human cells!!   There are approximately 10 times as many bacterial cells as human cells in the human body!

I’ll be doing a post later about the importance of taking care of those little buggers, and just why they are so important. But, every morning this week, I’ll be sharing a fermented food recipe.


Fermented foods are a very important way to incorporate probiotics into our diet. These probiotics are the healthy bacteria that repopulate the microbiome and bring balance to the gut.


Fermentation is surprisingly easy. (It just takes some patience) I’m just getting my feet wet in this ancient tradition. I hope you enjoy the recipes this week. I’ll try and share my trials and tribulations with fermenting in my weekly journal FIT BY 50.
