Feel Good Friday: The Dance Party – Dr. Sean Stephenson

This edition of Feel Good Friday will be quick, as I am in the middle of studying for my oral exam later today. I’m a bit stressed at the moment as you can imagine. When I am feeling sad or stressed, I often watch inspiring videos by Dr. Sean Stephenson.

Who is Dr. Sean Stephson?

I had the distinct privilege of listening to Dr. Stephenson live this past summer, at the Congress for Science and Technology Leaders, which I attended with my son. It was one of the most inspiring speeches I’ve ever heard.

Dr. Stephenson is a board certified therapist and inspirational speaker. He was born with a rare bone disorder called Osteogenesis Imperfecta and not expected to live more than 24 hours. (2) The disorder stunted his growth, and caused his bones to be very fragile (2). Here’s a quote from his website, which highlights the impact he has made in the USA and around the world:

“Despite the challenges he faced, he’s taken a stand for a quality of life that has reached millions of people around the world including Sir Richard Branson, President Clinton, and his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.”
