On my daily morning walks, I often listen to audio books. I am currently listening to a book by two great spiritual leaders, The Dalai Lama and Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu. These two men got together for five days to discuss something very important, JOY! The result, with the help of author Douglas Abrams, is the phenomenal book titled THE BOOK OF JOY: LASTING HAPPINESS TO CHANGE THE WORLD. I haven’t yet finished it, but it’s interesting listening as these two holy men discuss different aspects of joy. They don’t always agree, but in the end, they both agree to the importance of having Joy in our lives, and where it should come from, INSIDE OURSELVES.

Sleep is that golden chain that ties health and our bodies together..png

Below I’ve rounded up four videos about the book and a few important aspects from the book itself.

In this first video, Author Douglas Abrams discusses the book and his experiences working with these two spiritual, but often mischievous men. He says they want everyone to spread joy and the hashtag #sharethejoy.

This second video shows the Dalai Lama and Arch Bishop TuTu discussing their friendship

In the third video, the Dalai Lama and Arch bishop Tutu discuss materialism

Forgivenessis asign of Strength.

The final video shows these two great men discussing forgiveness.

I hope you enjoyed this little look into THE BOOK OF JOY, as well as hearing some wisdom from two very wise and very joyful spiritual leaders.

God Bless! Namaste! #SharetheJoy
