Feel Good Friday: Happiness Is…

What is happiness? It’s defined as feeling or showing pleasure and contentment. But, how do we do that? and What makes you happy? Money? pepperoni pizza? a new car? a big house? a fancy vacation? Are you happy within yourself or do you depend on outside people or material things to make you happy?

The other day when I was shopping, I found a book that caught my attention. It’s a fairly popular book, of which you may have heard…

This inspired me to add a VERY SHORT morning daily inspiration to my repertoire… something to help you start your day on the right note, and remind you that the best things in life are often the most simple things.

Each morning, I’ll pick one thing out of the book (or my own mind! 🙂 to share with you, along with a short prayer…that’s it.

Each post is meant to be a gentle reminder to find happiness in the simple things that happen in your life. Be happy in the moment. Be grateful for the things and people you have in your life. To illustrate the point of this new daily post, I’d like to share a video with you. This is the first and last time you’ll see a video as part of a “HAPPINESS IS…” post. However, since this is also a “FEEL GOOD FRIDAY” post, I wanted to give this post a little boost.

  2. Happiness can become a self induced state of emotion that is experienced as we discover the joys of LIVING LIFE rather than simply existing in it.
