“Family~Where life begins and love never ends.”
What exactly is family? How do you define or describe it? Is it just blood relation?
I believe that family is more than blood. The most important people in my life, the people who would do anything for me, who love me…warts and all…have no blood relation to me.
I consider these people my family.
“The family-that dear octopus from whose tentacles we never quite escape, nor, in our inmost hearts, ever quite wish to.”
~ Dodie Smith
I love this quote….it’s very true. Many times during our life, no matter how hard we try, no matter how badly we may want to, we can never truly get away from our family. Our parents, will always be there, through the fights, the tears, the battles. No matter how young or old, parents always worry about their children….ALWAYS!
The video below is a beautiful, heartwarming story of a son who has a disagreement with his father. There’s yelling and the son storms off, only to be brought back together with his very loving parents after a tragic accident. Through heartache and tears, the family is brought back together. This is a very inspiring video that brought tears to my eyes.
Hopefully it will warm your heart…and encourage you to call your Dad.
“That’s what family do for you. They put their arms around you and love you when you’re not so lovable.”
