Welcome to The Purple Almond! My name is Tamara Hoerner. I am a student at Hawthorn University working toward a Master of Science in Health and Nutrition Education.   2. You are staying true to the Purple Almond. Back in the mid sixties there was a club–downtown Toronto (Yorkville) —The Purple Onion —. It was a hot spot for live bands.
