Today I reached 200 followers. I am eternally grateful for each and every one of you. Today’s daily inspiration is a bit unusual. I am combining my daily inspiration with my thanks to you. I found a video of an individual saying thank you to a great non-profit.
The non-profit organization for today (technically tomorrow, since this is getting out after midnight!) is called Red Rover. Red Rover helps to bring animals out of crisis. Here is a quote from their website:
Founded in 1987, the mission of RedRover is to bring animals out of crisis and strengthen the bond between people and animals through emergency sheltering, disaster relief services, financial assistance and education. RedRover accomplishes its mission by engaging volunteers and supporters, collaborating with others and maximizing the use of online technology.
Here is a video from the Red Rover youtube channel. The video is about Michael, an Iraq War Vet and his service dog Bane. Michael tells their emotional story…and how bane saved his life. He thanks the people who support Red Rover for saving the lives of so many dogs. Check it out, it’s about 5:00 long.
Animals are truly amazing creatures. In the video, Micheal discusses how strong the bond with a dog can be. I can understand and can vouch for that. There are many days, my most stressful days, that Max , my dog, (below) is the only one who can cheer me up. So I genuinely appreciate the wonderful work that Red Rover does.
So I just wanted to express
my gratitude one more time.
So from me (and Max),
