When I read this blog, from Herding Cats, By: Phoebe Holmes, about TRYING to cut open a spaghetti squash, to my 16 year old son, and we both laughed, out loud, through the whole thing, I knew I had to share it, and devote my day to pasta alternatives.
Anyone who has ever tried to cut carbs out of their diet has, no doubt, tried to cook spaghetti squash. I have to agree 100% with Phoebe, cutting a spaghetti squash is not an easy task, and the results are nothing like regular pasta. If, however, you’d like to try spaghetti squash, I found this short, 2:08 video, from Tasty on Buzzfeed, highlighting 4 spaghetti squash recipes. (Notice, they don’t actually show the “cutting” process in the video. 🙂 )
