The Broken Ball: Learning to Let Go (3 min read)

When I first read this article, it really hit home. Not just because my kids are almost out of the house, that’s part of it, but mainly because I can relate to trying to hold on to what’s safe and being scared to venture out into the big bad world.
I opened this blog account more than a year ago, but was too afraid to put myself out there, maybe for fear of failure and rejection. What if no one liked it? What if no one read it? What I understand now, it doesn’t matter. What matters is I try and continue to do what I love, which is nutrition and teaching.
This particular article isn’t about food or nutrients or the like, but it is about food for the mind and soul, which are part of my beliefs. You can feed your body all the healthy food you want, but if you carry anger and fear with you, your mind and soul will be malnourished.
I hope you take a few minutes today to read this beautiful article. What are you afraid to let go of?
